Frequently Asked Questions

We provide mats and towels for every class, so there’s no need to carry your own. Come ready to move — we’ll take care of the rest.

We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before class.

This gives you time to settle in and ensures you don't lose your spot. If you're not checked in by the time class begins, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.

For safety and flow, we do not allow entry more than five minutes after class starts.

If you are not checked in by the time class begins, your spot may be released to someone on the waitlist. To preserve the flow and safety of the room, we do not allow entry more than five minutes after class has started. Because our classes begin with a grounding sequence and intentional warm-up, arriving on time is part of the method. It ensures you enter the room safely and without disrupting others.

ETHĒA classes are open-level, but they are intentionally challenging.

We recommend having some familiarity with group fitness, Pilates, sculpt, or strength-based movement. That said, instructors offer consistent modifications and progressions, so you can adjust the intensity to meet your body where it is that day.

You should feel challenged — not overwhelmed.

Wear breathable, form-fitting workout clothing that allows you to move freely. The room is heated, so lightweight fabrics are recommended.

Most clients are barefoot, but you’re welcome to wear grip socks if you prefer. Shoes are not permitted in the studio space.

Classes are capped at 28 clients to maintain space, coaching attention, and movement quality.

Yes. We offer private group classes, team events, and full studio buyouts. These are ideal for corporate teams, celebrations, or curated wellness gatherings. For availability and details, please contact us at info@ethea.com.

Yes. All classes are infrared-heated. Temperatures range depending on the format and time of day. Strength-focused classes may run slightly cooler to support heavier loading safely. Our approach to heat is intentional — never punishing.

Temperature may fluctuate slightly depending on the format, time of day, and weather outside. We intentionally cap heat at a level that enhances circulation and perceived effort without compromising form or joint safety. The goal is to support performance — not overwhelm the nervous system.

You’re always encouraged to listen to your body.

You may:

  • Take breaks at any time
  • Come down to your mat
  • Step out of the room briefly

If you have medical concerns regarding heat

exposure, we recommend consulting your physician

before attending a heated class

If you are pregnant or newly postpartum, we strongly recommend speaking with your doctor before attending class.

Yes, but we encourage you to communicate injuries or limitations in advance through our booking platform or directly with your instructor before class.

Our coaching philosophy includes layered progressions and regressions, so you can stay within the same movement family at an appropriate intensity.

Instructors cue modifications consistently and without judgment. You can remove load, reduce range of motion, slow your tempo, or simplify a movement at any time. Taking an option is not falling behind — it’s training with intention.

Our infrared heat is designed to enhance circulation and perceived effort without compromising form or joint safety. Unlike traditional forced-air heat, infrared warms the body more directly and evenly, which can support mobility and muscular engagement.

That said, heat is still a training variable. In a warm room, you may feel more flexible than you actually are, which is why we emphasize controlled tempo, alignment, and intelligent progression. The goal is never to push deeper simply because the room is warm.

We cap our heated classes at a moderate range to support performance, not overwhelm the nervous system.

If you have medical conditions, are pregnant, are prone to dizziness, or are sensitive to heat, we recommend consulting your physician before attending a heated class. You are always encouraged to take breaks, hydrate, and step out if needed.

At ETHĒA, heat is a tool — not the challenge itself.

Take one! You can:

  • Return to your mat
  • Modify the movement
  • Skip a block
  • Leave the room briefly

Cancellations must be made 12 hours before class. Late cancellations (within 12 hours) result in loss of class credit. No-shows result in loss of credit plus a $20 fee.

If a class is full, you may join the waitlist. If a spot opens more than two hours before class, you’ll automatically be added and notified. We recommend arriving early if you’re on the waitlist.

Memberships are designed for clients who want to build a consistent, structured routine. We offer 8- and 12-class monthly memberships at a discounted per-class rate. Members receive booking access 24 hours before the general public, giving them priority access to preferred class times. Members also have a shorter late cancellation window — 8 hours for members vs. 12 hours for non-members. Spots in class are not selected in advance; clients choose their position in the room upon arrival.

Memberships require a three-month minimum commitment and are ideal for those who plan to make ETHĒA part of their regular weekly training rhythm.

Class packs offer the most flexibility. We offer 5, 10-, and 20-class options. Five-class packs expire 60 days from purchase, while 10 and 20-class packs expire after 90 days. There is no commitment, and the per- class rate decreases as the pack size increases. Class packs are well-suited for clients with variable schedules or those easing into a routine.

As part of our launch and ramp-up period, we are offering two limited-time introductory options for first-time clients:

  • $99 for one unlimited week
  • Three classes for $65, to be used within two weeks

These introductory offers are available once per client and are designed to give you the opportunity to experience our formats and method before committing to a membership or class pack.

These launch-phase intro rates are temporary and may be adjusted as we move beyond opening season.

We offer select corporate partnerships and community-based pricing on a case-by-case basis.

Yes. Class packs and memberships can be used across all ETHĒA formats, including Sculpt, Strength, and Mat. We encourage clients to mix formats throughout the week to build a balanced, sustainable routine.

Yes. Five-class packs expire 60 days from purchase. Ten and 20-class packs expire 90 days from purchase. Membership credits reset monthly based on your billing cycle. We encourage clients to plan their schedule intentionally to make full use of their credits.

Memberships require a three-month minimum commitment. If you choose to cancel within the first three months, a $150 early cancellation fee applies. After the initial commitment period, you may cancel at any time. We ask that you please provide at least two weeks’ notice prior to your next billing cycle to ensure your request is processed in time.

Membership pauses are available for a limited window, depending on your circumstances. For assistance with cancellations or pauses, we encourage you to email our team directly so we can support you appropriately.

We believe in diversified, balanced training.

A typical sustainable week might include:

  • 1–2 Sculpt (Ignite)
  • 1–2 Strength (Build)
  • 1 Mat (Form)
  • Most clients attend 3–5 classes per week, mixing formats to avoid burnout and support longevity. If you’re doing ETHĒA “right,” you’ll feel stronger, clearer, and more energized — not depleted.

Your membership billing cycle begins on the date of purchase and renews monthly from that date. If you have questions about your specific billing timeline, our team is happy to help.
